Where ya from? Radnor, Delaware County.
What do you do? I was a family-law attorney, but now I'm a truancy master. I work in conjunction with the School District of Philadelphia and the Department of Human Services.
I'm also a master of emergency protection for abuse. I was there last night and had 12 cases. Domestic abuse isn't just limited to a man hitting a woman; it also includes children threatening parents and has a lot to do with drugs.
What's your favorite aspect about your job? Trying to motivate kids to go to school and to realize the importance of graduating.
What do you think about Philly? I lived in Miami for six years and Nashville for two. I came home because I missed Philly. I feel a sense of camaraderie. There's a heart here. Nashville doesn't have it, and Miami's too wild.
Favorite place to eat? Dandelion. I don't like their food, but I like their White Godiva Chocolate Martini. They have a dog-themed room!
