Cops: Punk eyed in 2 local killings

AUTHORITIES ARE searching for Laurie Wint, 23, of Camden, a man who is wanted for a homicides in New Jersey and another in Pennsylvania.

AUTHORITIES ARE searching for Laurie Wint, 23, of Camden, a man who is wanted for a homicides in New Jersey and another in Pennsylvania.

Wint allegedly killed a man in Camden's Eutaw Park on June 8 and police in Warminster Township, Bucks County, believe that Wint stabbed Tyrone Newman, 33, multiple times in front of an apartment building July 24. Newman died at a hospital.

In addition to Wint, Pennsylvania authorities also are seeking John Briggs, 24, of Camden, on homicide charges in the Newman slaying.

Police said Wint may have a fresh knife wound on the right side of his face. He also has a tattoo of "Lance" on his right forearm.

The Citizens Crime Commission is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Wint and Briggs.
