For the 14th time in the last year, a Philadelphia police officer has been arrested and booted from the force.

Police officials announced yesterday that Rabecca Bozeman, 33, had been suspended by Commissioner Charles H. Ramsey for 30 days with intent to dismiss for passing a bad check last summer.

Bozeman, who joined the force three years ago, allegedly "made a purchase using a fraudulent check" at the St. Jude Religious Store on Cottman Avenue near Large Street while she was off duty on Aug. 4.

The amount of the check and what Bozeman had purchased were unclear.

She was charged with bad checks, theft-unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

Police said Bozeman had worked at the 15th District, based on Levick Street near Harbison Avenue.
