A 21-year-old woman survived a crash early Saturday morning on Roosevelt Boulevard that killed the two other occupants of the car in which she was riding.

The accident happened about 5:10 a.m., when the driver lost control of his northbound Buick near C Street in Feltonville, police said.

The car traveled over the median, hit a snow bank and flipped several times before landing in the inner lanes of the Boulevard, according to a supervisor with the Police Department's Accident Investigation Division.

The driver and his front-seat passenger, whose identities were withheld pending notification of relatives, were taken by medics to Albert Einstein Medical Center, police said.

The driver, whose age was not available, initially was listed in critical condition but was pronounced dead at 7:06 a.m., police said.

His front-seat passenger, a 23-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the hospital at 5:58 a.m.

The woman in the back seat was taken to Einstein in a private car, listed in stable condition and later released.

Police said it would take some time to determine the cause of the accident.
