What's open, closed on Columbus Day

Some city offices will be closed today, and some services will be curtailed, in observance of Columbus Day.

* Mail: No delivery.

* Closed: All library branches, city district health centers, Department of Licenses and Inspections offices, north and northeast municipal service centers, Department of Recreation facilities, the Marriage License Bureau and Philadelphia Parking Authority executive offices and violations branch.

* Trash: No trash or recyclables will be collected. Residents who normally have trash picked up on Mondays should put it out for collection tomorrow.

* Court: The Criminal Justice Center will remain open for arraignment court.

* Housing: Emergency housing problems should be reported at 215-686-1776.
