Construction begins today on a $5.5 million project to repair and resurface 27 miles of state highway in Bucks County, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said.
Today through Friday, crews will mill and pave Market Street/Fifth Street between Route 536 (Seventh Street) and Blooming Glen Road in Perkasie Borough, and mill Route 152 between Route 113 and Diamond Street/Main Street in Silverdale, Sellersville and Perkasie boroughs.
The additional roads to be repaired and resurfaced are:
Route 113 (Souderton Road) between Bethlehem Pike and Deerfield Place in Hilltown Township and Silverdale Borough.
Main Street/Richlandtown Pike between Church Road and the Northampton County line in Springfield and Richland Townships.
Rushland Road between Almshouse Road and Swamp Road in Warwick and Wrightstown Townships.
Dublin Road/Hilltop Pike between Hilltown Pike and Frontier Road in Hilltown Township.
New Galena Road between Barry Road and Route 152 in New Britain Township.
Old Dublin Pike between Main Street and the bridge over Pine Run in Doylestown Township.
Geryville Pike/King High Road between Quakertown Road and the Lehigh County line in Milford Township.
Route 152 (Limerick Pike) between Route 202 (Butler Avenue) and Swartz Avenue in Chalfont Borough.
Diamond Street at the intersection of Route 113 in Hilltown Township.
Route 212 between the bridge over the Tohickon Creek and Main Street in Richland Township, Quakertown and Richlandtown Boroughs.
Mill Street/Radcliff Street between Mill Street and the Tullytown Borough line in Bristol Borough.
