Fumo, who announced last month that he would not seek re-election, is set for trial in September.
A 139-count indictment handed up in February 2007 charged that Fumo defrauded the state Senate, Citizens Alliance for Better Neighborhoods Inc., a South Philadelphia charity he helped found, and the Independence Seaport Museum.
The charging papers also say that Fumo tried to thwart an FBI probe by destroying e-mails and other electronic evidence.
Fumo has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Three former associates have also been charged in the case and have entered not-guilty pleas.
The feds say that Fumo used Senate staffers and contractors and Citizens Alliance staffers to do personal and political tasks for him - including performing chores at his homes and spying on his political enemies and ex-girlfriends - and paid for them with taxpayer money.
The disclosure of the evidence by prosecutors - ordered by the federal judge presiding over the case - relates to many of the charges against Fumo.
Among the more interesting items on the evidence list:
* A Sept. 22, 2002, fax from Frank Wallace, a private investigator hired by Fumo, to another investigator asking him to do surveillance at Doc's Union Pub. The Pub was in a building owned by Fumo political foe John Dougherty, who's now running to succeed Fumo in the state Senate.
* A spreadsheet showing Fed Ex shipments of merchandise to Fumo in Florida, including "John Doc's Fundraiser Union Pub Tape" on Feb. 26, 2002.
* An Aug. 31, 2001, e-mail exchange between Wallace and Fumo titled "ER Home," referring to Ed Rendell's New Jersey shore home. The feds say Fumo assigned Wallace to see whether Rendell was using nonunion labor to build a shore home. Fumo was backing now-U.S. Sen. Bob Casey against Rendell in the 2002 gubernatorial primary.
* A Sept. 13, 2002, fax from Wallace to another investigator asking him to do surveillance on the fourth floor of City Hall, where numerous City Council offices are situated.
* An Oct. 31, 2004, e-mail from Fumo to then-CBS 3 anchor Alycia Lane titled "We ARE Going to Win:-)"
* Photos of Fumo's real-estate holdings, including his house on Green Street in Fairmount, his shore home in Margate and his house in Fort Lauderdale.
* Documents on a series of Citizens Alliance payments for consumer goods, including Oreck vacuum cleaners, fishing equipment, GPS equipment, a gold eagle lamp, tools and automobiles. Fumo is charged with using Citizns Alliance money to buy things for himself.
* Two agreements from 2000 and 2003 "regarding Fumo's employment with Dilworth Paxson LLP," and an e-mail exchange in May 2005 between Fumo and Richard Shappell, of the Dilworth firm, "regarding compensation."
* Pennsylvania corporation records for five subsidiaries of CA Holdings, a subsidiary of Citizens Alliance: 1210 Enterprises Inc., Hi Tech Ventures Inc., Moya Ventures Inc., Passyunk Avenue Revitalization Inc. and Pine Tree Realty Inc.
* Citizens Alliance and CA Holdings checks written to City Councilman Jim Kenney in late 2001 and early 2002. Kenney had previously disclosed that he borrowed money from Citizens Alliance during a period when Council paychecks were suspended for its failure to agree on a redistricting plan. The money was later repaid, with interest, when Council got its back pay.
* Checks written to Councilman Frank DiCicco in the same time frame, from both Fumo and CA Holdings.
* Summary of farm equipment provided by Citizens Alliance. Fumo is accused of using state Senate employees to work on his farm outside Harrisburg and using Citizens Alliance money to buy equipment.
* Many e-mails listed as exhibits, having titles relating to work on the farm, including "Cattle Barn," "Fuel Tanks" and "Goat Barns."
* Many e-mail exchanges with state Senate staffer Lillian Cozzo, whom prosecutors charge "coordinated countless personal tasks" for Fumo. *
