At 7 p.m., the Sixers host the Phoenix Suns at the Wachovia Center, while the Phillies take on the Toronto Blue Jays in an exhibition game at Citizens Bank Park.
Just five minutes later, the Phantoms minor-league hockey team is set to take on the Binghamton Senators at the Wachovia Spectrum.
SEPTA will be ready, with beefed-up service along the Broad Street subway line, including Sports Express trains leaving the Fern Rock station at 6:18 p.m., 6:28 p.m. and 6:38 p.m.
The red-hot Sixers, with 11 wins in their last 13 games, have been drawing more fans as of late, and Phoenix, led by Shaquille O'Neal and Steve Nash, comes in looking to avenge a March 1 loss in Phoenix.
On Monday, the Sixers won on the road against the team with best record in the league, the Boston Celtics, then on Wednesday trounced the Chicago Bulls at home.
With only 10 games left, the 37-35 Sixers look like a lock for the playoffs.
The Phillies start their regular season on Monday, with a 3:05 p.m. game against the Washington Nationals. That game has been sold out for weeks.
Tomorrow afternoon at 1:05, the team has another tune-up contest against Toronto, and SEPTA will have Sports Express trains heading out of Fern Rock at 11:52 a.m., 12:08 p.m., 12:23 p.m. and 12:38 p.m.
Saturday, the Phils head to Allentown's new Coca-Cola Park for a soldout exhibition against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.
The Phantoms, who lead the East Division with a record of 41-24-3-3, have tickets available, a spokesperson said. With nine games left, they're almost certain to land a playoff berth.
