Nun’s computer was his gateway to porn, police say

A man employed by the New Jersey state police was arrested yesterday accused of sneaking into a church to look at hard-core pornography on a nun's computer.

Thomas G. Findler, 42, of Hamilton, was caught viewing fetish and teen porn yesterday morning by a custodian at Grace-St. Paul Episcopal Church, just outside Trenton.

The custodian hailed a passing patrol officer as he chased Findler out of church.

Findler, who is a member of the congregation, has been charged with burglary and theft.

Findler had been sneaking into the Mercer County church at night during the last three weeks to look at at explicit websites, according to the Associated Press.

Findler is a clerk-typist at state police headquarters near Trenton, a police spokesman said. It was unclear this morning whether Findler will be allowed to keep his job.
