A drunken street brawl among about 10 people exploded into a massive melee involving some 100 people in Port Richmond early yesterday that resulted in police putting out three assist-officer calls and issuing at least one arrest warrant.

The first fracas erupted at 2:20 a.m. on Ann Street near Edgemont outside Fasones Sports Bar.

The brawl involved about 10 men battling each other with bottles, bricks and bats, said Officer Tanya Little, a police spokeswoman.

As a crowd of onlookers swelled to about 100, various other fights broke out throughout the throng, Little said.

Two 19-year-old black men emerging from a car after a New Year's party then were attacked by bottle-swinging white brawlers, Little said.

The assailants chased their victims down the street shouting racial slurs, Little said.

One victim was cut on his head, face and neck, and the other had a broken finger and numerous head and neck cuts. Both were treated at Northeastern Hospital and released.

Detectives issued an arrest warrant for a 25-year-old man the victims identified as among their attackers. The investigation was continuing, and more arrests are possible. *
