Philly-born crooners Boyz II Men will play a hometown show early next year at the newly opened Met Philadelphia for the 25th anniversary of their landmark album II, the venue announced today.

Group members Shawn Stockman, Wanya Morris, and Nathan Morris will perform at the Met Philadelphia on Feb. 16, 2019. The show will be presented as part of the Met's "#hoMETownShow" series, which includes performances from other Philly artists such as PnB Rock (Dec. 28) and Kurt Vile (Dec. 29). Tickets for the Boyz II Men performance go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via the Met Philadelphia website.

"It's a wonderful thing," Wanya Morris said of performing in Philly. "Especially when you get onstage and you feel that Philly love. There's nothing like it."

The announcement comes following the 11-time Grammy-winning group's shows at the Wells Fargo Center alongside Bruno Mars last month. With a setlist that included hits like "Motownphilly," "On Bended Knee," and "Water Runs Dry," the show, reporter Drew Lazor wrote for the Inquirer, showed "the dream of the '90s was alive in South Philly."

This week, group member Nathan Morris will also debut Hit Properties with Nathan Morris, a house flipping program, on the DIY Network. Scheduled to air Saturday at 10 p.m., the show will feature Morris transforming a Florida property into what a release called a "grand showplace."
