25th Annual Philadelphia Bike Race

What: The 25th running of the Philadelphia International Championship pro cycling tour races. Sponsored by TD Bank and presented by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the 156-mile classic remains the longest running and most important single-day cycling road race in the United States.

 

When: Sunday, June 7; men's race starts at 9 a.m., ends approximately 3 p.m. Women's race starts at 9:10 a.m. on the same course and ends about noon.

 

Course: Both races start from the Ben Franklin Parkway at 22nd Street on Kelly Drive through Fairmount Park to Manayunk, and return back to Center City. The women race 4 laps for 57 miles, and the men complete 10 laps of the Center City - Manayunk circuit, plus 2 opening laps from Logan Circle to the Art Museum and 3 finishing laps between Logan Circle and Lemon Hill for a total of 156 miles.

 

Prize Money: $55,250 for the winners of the men's race and $25,000 for the women.
