A space heater may be the solution.
Laura Gaskill, Houzz blogger, doesn’t think you should have to sacrifice your sense of style with a boring space heater.
“Turning down your central thermostat and using a space heater to provide extra warmth in the room you are using can be a more efficient way to heat your home,” she writes. “To get the most out of your space heater, be sure to close doors to any rooms not in use.”
Many space heaters offer an automatic shutoff feature for safety reasons and some you can even mount on the wall to eliminate the worry of having them tip over.
