HERE'S A TONING EXERCISE you can do outside - the latest in my series of great outdoor options for your workout. It's a classic step-up move, and since I chose a low wall at the Art Museum to step up onto, I'm calling it the Art Museum Step-Up.

(Yo, Rocky: It primarily works the quadriceps, but your calves, glutes and hamstrings also will benefit.)

Start by placing your right foot on a low wall or some other elevated platform. Then step up onto the platform with your left foot, tap it there and step back down, maintaining good posture throughout. Repeat for 10 to 20 reps, then switch legs. To add intensity, hold dumbbells at your side or overhead.
