Fireball streaks across night sky

What the American Meteor Society is calling a "huge fireball" streaked through the sky Monday night and was visible from Maryland to Quebec, including the Philadelphia region.

The society said reports pegged the sightings to around 6:35 p.m. in the northern sky.

One motorist, Pete Czech, caught it on his dashcam while driving on I-287 in Morristown, N.J., and posted it on YouTube.
