Men growing out their facial hair this month might have more to worry about then a few quizzical looks from the opposite sex.
Their moustaches’ may be prime breeding ground for bacteria.
The location of moustaches places them between major in-and-out passageways of the nose and mouth leaving it susceptible to germs. The warm, steamy air coming from your nostrils provides the ideal environment for bacteria to grow. Simply washing your scruff might not be enough to rid the follicles of contaminants; you’ll need to do a deep scrub, making sure to reach the hidden skin, and even that might not be enough to kill the microbes.
