Christiana Hospital is a market leader in women’s and children’s health, with 6,641 deliveries in the 2011 fiscal year. Specialists perform a high number of vascular surgeries, open-heart cases and cardiology procedures, and treat a large volume of stroke patients. It is the only Level 1 trauma center between Philadelphia and Baltimore.
