A resource to Northwest Philadelphia and eastern Montgomery County, this community hospital takes pride in offering individualized and high-quality care within the city. It partners with university-based hospitals, such as Penn Medicine and Temple University, to enhance heart, stroke and cancer care. The Chestnut Hill Hospital Women’s Center offers diagnostic and clinical services for all stages of a woman’s life, including digital mammography, high-resolution breast ultrasound, and minimally invasive breast biopsy. Specialists perform a high number of minimally invasive, robotic-assisted surgery in gynecology, urogynecology and prostate. The hospital, which owns eight physician practices, is itself owned by for-profit Community Health Systems of Franklin, Tenn.
