Jeanes Hospital

Jeanes Hospital, a long-standing community hospital, provides for the general acute-care needs of patients along with more in-depth services from the hospital's parent, the Temple University Health System. The hospital has the capability to accommodate highly complex surgical needs typically found only in urban academic medical centers. Temple Physicians Inc. provides heart care such as medical cardiology, diagnostic and therapeutic catheterizations, and cardiothoracic surgery. Orthopedic care includes joint replacement, sports medicine and spine surgery. Other notable programs are a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence for weight loss and a primary stroke care program.
