Q: I eat sushi three to four times a week. How healthy is it really?

- Mr. Sushi

A: Like you, I'm a big sushi fan, but, sadly, it is not as low-fat and healthy as we would like to believe. Some seemingly healthy sushi rolls can pack more than 500 calories per 6-to-8-piece roll. On the other hand, a slice of sashimi (sushi without rice) is about 35 calories per slice. So, sashimi is a better choice if you're concerned about calories, carbs and fat.
