5 fruits rich in antioxidants

1 YUMBERRY

The yumberry comes from China and comes in a variety of colors, like red, pink and purple. This fruit is high in antioxidants and rich in vitamins, such as C, beta-carotene (the precursor to A), thiamine and riboflavin.

 

2 ARONIA BERRY

The aronia berry is a North American antioxidant heavyweight, boasting high levels of vitamins C, A, E, folate, potassium and iron.

 

3 BARBERRY

The bright red barberry looks similar to cranberries and is extremely tart. This antioxidant berry is one of the new superfood stars and is high in vitamin C.

 

4 ELDERBERRY

The elderberry sort of resembles blueberries and is loaded with carotenoids, flavonoids and vitamins A, B, and C.

 

5 GOJI BERRY

Goji berries come from Asia and southeast Europe, have powerful antioxidant properties and are rich in vitamin A. They can be eaten raw, cooked, dried, in juices or teas.
