LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Just when the world thought James Franco was out of surprises, here comes his jockstrap-clad bare butt.
The eclectic actor and upcoming stage director dropped his drawers Sunday night in New York at charity event "Broadway Bares: Rock Hard," which raised $1,386,105 for the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS foundations, according to Playbill. Franco is currently starring on Broadway alongside Chris O'Dowd and Leighton Meesterin a revival John Steibeck's "Of Mice and Men."

Kim Jong-un recently denounced Franco and Seth Rogen for mocking him in an upcoming film; it's unclear whether this latest flash of flesh will put him back into the North Korean dictator's good graces.
