GORE-TEX Philadelphia Half Marathon sold out


A little over a month before race weekend, the GORE-TEX Philadelphia Half Marathon has officially sold out, according to race’s website.

Fortunately, there are still 1,000 available spots for the marathon. The marathon and half marathon will kick off on November 17th at 7:00 a.m. on 22nd Street & Benjamin Franklin Parkway, near the Philadelphia Museum of Art. 

Does 26.2 miles sound grueling? The Rothman Institute 8K, held on Saturday, November 16th, is another great way to take part in the race weekend excitement. Kids can also join in the fun! Saturday morning’s Kids Fun Run is a non-competitive event for kids ages 6-14, where each age group will run a mile or half mile distance.

Registrations for the GORE-TEX Philadelphia Marathon, the Rothman Institute 8K, and the Kids Fun Run are open until November 1st or when registration reaches capacity. To register, go to
