Ford, an eight-year-old golden retriever, is the newest member of Magee Rehabilitation Hospital's therapy team. A full-time facility dog, he helps patients recover both physically with tasks and by providing warm unconditional love.
Herbert “The Puzzle Man” Brown has worked 25 different jobs, but now is spending his retirement as a volunteer at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America facility in Philadelphia. His daily routine ranges from greeting patients with a hug and asking about their day, to talking about serious issues and staying with them in intensive care. But he is most known for his jigsaw puzzles.
