DJ AM, 1973-2009
Posted on Fri, Aug 28, 2009
Adam Goldstein, better known as DJ AM, the sought-after disc jockey who became a celebrity in his own right with high-profile romances and a glamorous lifestyle, was found dead Friday at his Manhattan apartment, which had drug paraphernalia in it, a law enforcement official said. A native of Center City Philadelphia, he survived a plane crash in September 2008.
