Sideshow: Actor: HPV caused cancer

The twit-sphere was abuzz Monday with word that Michael Douglas blames his throat cancer on oral sex. The star, who was diagnosed with the disease in 2010 and is now in remission, was quoted in London's the Guardian saying his cancer was caused by human papillomavirus virus (HPV), contracted during oral sex with women. (It's extremely rare, but it can happen.)
