I wouldn't mind seeing the eagles trade back in the draft. Especially if the Eagles can have a solid offseason heading into the draft and with their cap space its a possibility. If the Eagles use free agency to get an OT (Ryan Clady or Sebastian Vollmar), a CB (Sean Smith or Brent Grimes), and maybe a safety (William Moore from Atlanta would be nice) trading back could really help this club out. Resign Jake Scott, Antonio Dixon and Colt Anderson, reconstruct Namndi's contract and then cut the rest of the dead weight.

Ideally they nab the Rams 16th and 21st overall picks and take FS Kenny Vaccaro and OG Jonathan Cooper. I know grabbing guard after signing a top tackle would seem like overload, but with the way our line was in shambles last year having a guy like Cooper available in case Todd Herremans can't make the transition back smoothly or still injured he'll be a nice backup plan. I'd then use the 35th overall pick to grab an OLB. A guy like Ogletree would be really nice if he somehow slips out of the first round.

But that's just my two cents. Think that offseason would fill a lot of holes. Opens up for them to possibly grab Ryan Nassib later on. Still need a NT though? Oh well. 2014 i guess.

Select Geno Smith and trade Vick for a bag of used footballs.

Shady_dude, did you ever stop to think that maybe Vick is not done, because personally I think he will have a comeback season. Now I'm not saying that he is the greatest QB ever, but what I seen from MOST players on that Eagles squad last year were players that had just become burnt out with the entire regime and had no desire to go forward with them. Lets see how it all shakes out.

To all the Vick apologists: Vick is what he is --- a gifted, exciting athlete, who is injury prone, and who has shown to be a poor decision maker while turning over the ball too much. That didn't just start happening last year.

The Eagles' won't be trading their pick to move down, not because they don't want to, but why would another team trade with them when the talent pool is so deep?

As desperate as the Eagles are for both corners and safeties, they might want to look at this abundance of safeties and see if there is one among them that might be made a corner, along of course drafting a few good corners. In fact for maybe one great O linemen, all the selections ought to be defensive players.

I do not care if the Birds draft a DB, Safety in the 3rd or 4th rounds. But, please make the choice a guy who is over 6 ft tall. The TE's are killing our small people. We need two guys who are over 6 ft. just to jump as high as a Tony Gonz. type.

Without knowing any specifics about these players...I agree with Johnny. It doesn't sound like you're likely to find a great QB in this draft, so unless there is a true difference maker...a transcendental talent at the Orlando Pace level...I think the best move might be to trade down, draft talent at less prominent positions like guard/safety/LB, and take a run at a QB next year. If a player slips to them that they think can be an anchor piece...by all means take him, but with the sheer number of holes on this team, I'd rather see them bring in more talent across the board.

If Kurt Coleman was thrown back into the draft this year, he would STILL be a 7th round pick.

Find somebody not afraid to make a tackle and draft him.
