Heads won't roll. DiLeo has been instrumental in running things since LB left in '03...and he was PROMOTED this off-season!! But hey, since we're not going to trade ET and Hawes for Josh Smith or Milsap, we're clearly not going to re-sign Bynum. So, net net, it was a spectacular move to trade Iguodala, Vuke, Harkless, and this year's #1 for...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!

I think this loss sealed the 6ers fate. No playoffs. I doubt they will finish 9th in East, I can see them 12th. Speaking of 12, does anyone proofread these articles? Apparently neither the writer nor sports editor knows the difference between twelve and twenty. Maybe the writer is being punished by having to cover the Sixers and this is his revenge. The sports editor has probably given up editing for Lent. Let's go Phillies.

I watched the final minutes of last night's games, attracted by the fact that the Sixers were actually within a point or two of forcing OT. I was later encouraged by seeing that they had actually gone to the charity stripe more than anytime in at least the six previous games. Then came the last seconds of the game, when after the held ball, the tap ended up in the hands of....... Royal Ivey!!!! Why was he on the court in that situation? The Sixers had called a time up to set up their last play of regulation. Shouldn't they have had their five best offensive players on the floor? Anyhow, the ball went, of course, to Ivey who appeared to go into panic mode and do anything he could to get rid of it, rather than at least square up to the basket and either take a shot or drive from outside the elbow and then dish off to someone who was open. I get the idea that you use Ivey to spell guys at the end of early quarters of games, but from everything I've seen, that's the extent of PT he should ever get. It's hard to see the Sixers outlasting the Raptors to avoid finishing last in the division, even though Toronto is three games back in the loss column.

Making a trade at this point would be rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. The captain of the ship is lost at sea and the crew has
mentally abandoned ship. Full steam ahead! Signing Bynum to a five year, multi-gazillion dollar deal would be a huge mistake in my
opinion. Let the fire sale begin!

Another Sixers Collapse, this time to Milwaukee without their best player and center, Larry Sanders. Collins needs to be fired. Let us begin with 3 reasons: 1. Vucevic; 2.Vucevic; 3. Vucevic. Here is another one: Starting Lavoy Allen for a season and a half. That should be a federal racketeering crime. Plus, Doug has not installed a half court offense at all, a huge no no. ....Doug keeps crying about his players not performing and the other team's players being so much better than his. Hey, you assembled this entire roster: look to home. An unmitigated series of disasterd: Bynum, trading Vuc, playing the temple kid, having no half court offense, or rather, designing the old "one on one" offense. ....all of this is not Doug's fault, he and Tony Delilos....yea right!

so you do not think I am being entirely negative, and I only criticize and do not propose solutions, here are two things that should be immediately, but politely, done: 1. Fire Collins and Tony Delilo and the entire front office; and 2. have the Sixers corporation pass a corporate By Law which prohibits them from doing any trading whatever, at any time, for any reason. Just get new people entirely and draft for the future. Remember: no trading of players or wheeling and dealing. It is now a corporate by law.
