By this point in winter, Sharon Roher would ordinarily be closing in on renting her two Seaside Heights properties for the entire summer.

I'm still trying to figure out, how I'm going to make it through the winter, let alone think about the (overly exspensive) cost of a summer vacation!! This may be a wake-up call to South Jersey shore coast to maybe lowering the cost of rentals, and are they really serious about tags in Wildwood!! That would be their leeming moment, of going over the cliff!!!

These realtors in Atlantic and Cape May Counties will blow it all by over-reaching with asking prices to buy or rent a place at the shore. The victim of a "Highway Robbery" usually doesn't take too kindly to the robbers who stick it to him. . . . These realtors seem currently to think that they're running "the only game in town." This may be so for now. What they and all prospective buyers and lessors really should be thinking about, though, is the very real possibility of "Sandy Redux" next hurricane season.

It will be interesting to see how the laws of supply and demand will work out. Of course, if the resort towns are not "ready" for the tourists, there will be no reason to go there... One would be "smart" to see for themselves before they commit to anything.

is it me, or are these "victims" purposely leaving their places looking as bad as they can in order to get the insurance company (which is effectively all of us when the raise their rates) to pay for the clean up. What happened to pridee and hard work - there's no reason that these houses weren't cleaned up weeks ago. Milking the issue to get as much of the "free" federal storm relief as possible. They should all get Oscars - and Christie is nothing more than a pandering politician - the worst kind - one that pretends he's above that type of thing. A real hypocrite.

I suppose you have personally driven down to to the Jersey Shore to inspect the properties there. You must have first hand knowledge of the lack of suffering going on there. Or are you a weasel that trashes innocent victims with lies, just to promote your political agenda? Never mind...the answer is obvious.

These poor millionaires might lose some income this summer. Too bad. Write it off on your taxes or sell your properties. Your Democrat friends can't give you enough to rebuild because the Republicans don't like entitlements. Your Republican friends that rent for the summer may go elsewhere. Too bad.

Sad to say, but there's lots of insurance fraud.

Meow, everyone who trash the shore, are the same people who celebrate Summer's Eve every Fourth of July and trash the beaches. The question, is will the Baconator delegate the money to the shore area's affected the most. We wunder why on earth our taxes go up, because idiots enjoy trashing our beaches with their illegal 2nd Amendment rights. EOE loves giant red Fireworks. Pinged is the extension of PNG! NJ goes to PA for green fireworks, PA comes over to NJ to get weed yo! Odd fellows!
