- Eddystone, the home of The Baldwin Locomotive Works. Google it sometime. For those too young to know or care, Philadelphia was once the premier manufacturing base of our country. I want to thank Mr Jack Galloway for his vision and courage in this venture. Lord knows, it's men like him, behind the scenes, that keep this country going. Not the political hacks in Trenton, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Washington. Bravo Zulu, Mr Garroway!
It's probably temporary. Unless the pipelines lead east this is not economical over the long haul. They'll be competing with the refineries along the gulf once the Keystone pipeline gets built. The oil supply has to be there for 30 years to make back what you invest in refineries anyway. meteo30

The "political hacks" are meant to do their jobs and the business "hacks" are meant to do their jobs.
As long as they create checks and balances for each other we're ok. ald- ...Obama's pal Warren Buffet owns a railroad...that pipeline ain't getting built anytime soon...
this makes a lot of sense, especially at a time when the philly area has been struggling to keep these refineries open. Delta has theirs turning crude into jet fuel now. Maybe this will be further incentive to keep that operation here. They should still work on building a pipeline from North Dakota to the Northeast area. We have the resources we just need to make it economically viable theeman1
Delaware County and Eddystone is one of the most hostile business climates in the area. Unless someone puts cash in Pillegi's pocket this ain't happening. snealfleeba
