When a Delaware County nursing home owned by Leland Beloff, the ex-convict and former Philadelphia city councilman, asked the state for a $1.5 million grant in 2006, the money was supposed to address a pressing need for senior housing in the community.

This was a sloppy audit and investigation!! The "missing" $500,000. is in the supply cabinet of the upstairs bathroom, facing the main parking lot, underneath the unopened package of paper-towels. Look again.— zen- Harlee Manor owes income tax on all the money it got from UAC. Hopefully the IRS picked up my complaints and has started sniffing around. Who at UAC facilitated the transfers to the Beloffs? How was that carried out?

- Amazing. A convicted felon, who served 6 of 10 years in prison, gets direct and special access to state grants, U.S. Congressmen, State legislators, etc.... This guy should be living in a shelter in N. Phila., but instead lives like a king in Gladwyn. The system IS rigged. - The thievery and cast of characters behind it are, as usual, Brady, Evans, Beloff, etc. Before them it was Perzel, Fumo,Deweese, etc. Doesn't make any difference if you're a felon..the party in power (even the one not in power) will ensure your continued wealth and happiness. What's disturbing is the fact that these clowns are caught in the act, so to say, yet they keep maneuvering and manipulating things to steal and divert more of your tax dollars..
