When all is going Jamie's way, he is the sweetest guy in the world. But the 2 times it didn't while he was here - he cried and griped like a baby. THAT says all I need to know about him. I am glad he is somewhere else.

The great thing about baseball is that there are so many ways to be good at it. A pitcher can do it with one unhittable breaking pitch, like Mariano Rivera, by changing speeds, like Moyer, or lots of other ways.

Jamie Moyer may be the first man to pitch in the majors after he begins collecting Social Security. I wonder...do the team doctors take Medicare? I'm rooting for him to pitch...forever.

Great story. Although Colorado is a tough place for any pitcher to try to make a comeback at any age!

There are many forms of greatness in sports and Moyer deserves to be recognized as a great one for the reasons Mr. Platt relates in such fine fashion. He definitely deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.
