A mad dash for Phillies tickets began at 8:30 this morning, as five kids from Ridley stepped up to the ticket window at Citizens Bank Park, while hundreds of others tried their luck online or by phone.

Don't forget about the Nationals games in DC. Me, I'll be rooting for the Fightins' in Seattle!! Hoping for Hernandez versus any one of our starters. Go Phils!! 106-56 IdahoMoose
OK!...We are going to BREAK the two year "Tradition" my daughter and I have got going. For the past two Father's Day games, my youngest daughter (who holds a Sunday Ticket Game Plan) has taken me to see Cole Hamels lose two of the more brilliantly pitched games of his career! In '09 he lost 1-0. In 2010 he lost 2-1. This year WILL be DIFFERENT!! (It has to be, otherwise it will be MY fault, and I will never be allowed to go with her again.....PLEEEEEEASE get this guy a few freaking runs!!! GO FIGHTINS!!!! TBear
I camped in front of my computer beginning at 9PM last night and was fortunate enough to walk away with a pair of tickets online this morning at 8:30AM. My dedication paid off. guyguy4
The online link never let me purchase but luckily I got in via the phone at 9:15. stanbro
I sat in the queue for an hour and 20 minutes. They need more servers and/or more memory in the servers. alihajishank
stubhub.com Forget the Phillies site intelliwoman
Why would anyone do this when you can buy online. Between myself and 3 friedns we scored 40 tickets to 7 different games in less than 1/2 hour intelliwoman

The Phillies hold tickets for the fans who wait in line. They usually get tickets that are not available online/ on the phone. It's a good pr move by a smart franchise that actually does stuff for its fans, instead of just claiming they do. They also win championships, as opposed to just claiming they are the gold standard. Been sitting in queue since 8:30 this morning... frustrating. TerryW
I agree with rochaa3, I didnt think people still waited outside for tix. I got my choice of games online. Oh well. Hope everyone got what they wanted. ccb2008

Good news, plenty of Mets tickets are available for all games at CitiField. Getting tickets to Mets games is easier than being asked for money in Times Square. Drew777
Enjoy the good times people. I hope they last. I'm 31 and this is the only golden era I've been through and hope it doesn't end. I can't go back to days when baseball was over by June. I can't and I won't. DennyP
What is this? 1999? I was online at 8:28AM and got my tickets. The end. GO PHILLIES! rochaa3
Total frustration.... can't get out of the queue to buy them... it's just sitting on that screen. stblindtiger
