- So old school, get over yourself. All of these stars you mentioned donate to many causes (do your homework. The point of getting others to donate is not simply about the money, but a reminder to the rest of the world including our government that HIV/AIDS and our concern for its devastating affects on our communities is still alive and well(not dead as the news media touts or better yet doesn't tout until "World AIDS Day"). Sure, it would be so easy for them to give $333,333.00 a piece, but even still that amount wouldn't solve the problem. People working together across many communities, letting each other know this is still a critical issue is the point. But, I guess that went over some folks head...LOL— sangoboi
