MILWAUKEE - The 76ers fall behind teams so often that if one didn't know better, it might seem like a strategy.

Jrue's Holiday all star audition was put to rest by Tony Parker and the Spurs , why is the media so intent on making Jrue a villain in this town? It's not his personality to be the man at this point? You can't force people to be what they aren't leave him be. The article should be asking why Doug started Royal Ivey at the two? This season is a wrap at this point, I hope Doug realizes it and starts playing for next year, we should be big time sellers at the trade deadline looking for picks and cap relief, the sign should read no reasonable offer will be refused. And after Doug is fired can we get a real GM ? Are Tony DiLeo and Howie Roseman the same guy? bgwille
bgwille....stole my thought....think about this....Royal Ivey starting and Wilkins part of your rotation of the bench.....enough said.
If you need anything more than that to understand that this is a train wreck your simply being a philly homer. Ownership.....you got a long road ahead (years) too correct this. You might as well start now and clean house. bbrady25
Lets see the eagles became unwatchable , the Phils were unwatchable for a while last season ,the Flyers are becoming unwatchable and the Sixers are unwatchable.
gardner- At least we know at the end of the first quarter whether to continue watching.
@bgwille and @bbrady25...When they flashed the photos of the starters on the TV screen, I got ill. I'm a Temple grad and it pains me to say this, but if an NBA team is starting Lavoy Allen and Royal Ivey, they are not a very good team...not to mention the ridiculous matchup issues that starting lineup caused. How in the he!! is Evan Turner supposed to guard Ersova?
Mitchell cites recent halftime deficits, but for quite some time now, the Sixers have been behind the 8 ball after the first quarters of games this season. Add to the fact the Sixers often receive inconsistent performances from bench players, and one has a bad recipe for winning,as the roster just isn't deep enough...While the idea of Hawes coming off the bench made sense with a strong starting lineup, it's been evident for over a month DC should have re-inserted him as a starter to give the team more offensive options early, but DC remains rigid....Painfully obvious that early on in the season, when DC showed no trust (or interest) in the development/use of certain younger players (Moultrie,Wayns..consistent with past pieces that could have offered depth in Vucevic,Speights), that max minutes to certain players (ET,Jrue, even Thad) would create tired players, and a reliance on guys that makes fans cringe..Poor decisions in Summer, and a lack of bravado to correct roster (or sheer stubborness of a coach who thinks he can solve any crossword puzzle), as the entire organization holds that last remaining card, Andrew Bynum...This roster still needs athleticism in the form of quickness from guards, more athleticism and attitude to defend from the wings, and obviously added frontcourt play....Can't help but notice what kind of player "Ersanity" can be, free of Scott Skiles. Yearned for the Sixers to compete for him in Summer, and still think the Sixers should keep an eye on him, as the Bucks' frontcourt is crowded. A few more games like that, and he won't be available (Nets are trying to acquire him), as his stock will go back up... bearsfriend
The Team STINKS stop talking about them and maybe they will go away. mbutley
I see Seattle wants an NBA team. Why not give them the Sixers and we get Russell Wilson from the Seahawks. zeke128
Every time I sign on to Philly.com, I'm hoping to see an article that say, "Sixers fire Doug Collins." Xavier19
Jrue has numbers to put him in the conversation of being an all-star, End of story. Seems like everyday people are going out of their way to bash the best player on the team.
Whatever...
Back to legitimate basketball conversation... You can't continue to play 3 on 5. Collins hitched his wagon to Bynum I can't be mad at him for that, time to go to plan B. This season is a loss, trade all these rented players that have no ties here and plan for the off season. Maybe we can get a couple of late first round picks. At this point they seem to be sitting on their hands and that's the real problem. With gigantic holes on this roster at the 4 and 5 how anyone expect this team to succeed? Our bigs aren't even serviceable. So where does that leave us. Mozgov can't be had? Jason Thompson can't be had? Right now I would even see if I could bring back Dalembert. Things have gotten that bad. BigVilFromWestPhil
DC will still not start ET at PG or even SG, preferring Ivey. This is beyond ridiculous. Once again, the best player was Turner. what's with Collins? The management should fire him forthwith. Three years at the helm and he is still playing with rotations. Sure, the personnel has changed. But Jrue, turner, and Thad should have been locks by now in their positions. Why can't the socalled journalists ask him: "What's up with you and Turner? Why are you intent on playing him out of his natural position? Why not play him at PG And Holday at 2? Those were their respective positions in college. Why not go back to those since you have tried everything else?

I wrote before dalembert should have not been traded until they drafted favors or cousins work them into line-up then trade dalembert but sixers grabbed turner his position seems to me is pg/point forward..leading scorer of last year traded, best perimeter defender traded now interior and perimeter defense is weak, bynum has not played a milli-second the entire season, did collins get fired yet? only 9
