Phillies food lineup: Loaded

Aramark and the Phillies unveiled the lineup of new food selections to be served this season at Citizens Bank Park.

I don't see Cardiologists Night at the Ballpark on the schedule, that's for sure. ("A free stent to the first 10,000 fans...")

Harry the K’s, the sit-down restaurant in left field, will serve warm Federal pretzels (served with cheese fondue and beer mustard); Mini Corn Dogs; the "Ripper" (a deep-fried natural-casing hot dog with caramelized onions); Texas Tommy (wrapped in bacon, topped with chili and American cheese sauce); Disco Fries (served with brown gravy, melted mozzarella and bacon), Philly Fries (topped with chopped steak, caramelized onions and cheese sauce); Salt & Vinegar Fries (togarashi-spiced fries with malt vinegar); and a "Cracklin’" slow-roasted pork sandwich (served with wilted greens and sharp provolone on artisan bread).

In concessions, Aramark has four new nachos and tacos: Ancho Pepper Braised Pork Nachos (ancho pepper braised pork, nacho cheese, fresh-cut tomato salsa, jalapenos and sour cream), BBQ Chicken Nachos (roasted chicken braised in barbecue sauce with nacho cheese, black beans, tomato salsa and sour cream), Pork Tacos (cilantro-lime pork, pico, crispy cabbage and shredded cheddar) and Chicken Tacos (chipotle-garlic chicken, pico, crispy cabbage and shredded cheddar).

The panini lineup: Chicken Pesto Panini (chicken breast, spinach, ricotta, provolone, red pepper, pesto) and Italian Market Panini (cappicola, Genoa salami, pepperoni, provolone, red onion, pepperoncini, tomato, Italian vinaigrette). There's a vegetarian Southwestern Black Bean Burgers, topped with guacamole and salsa, too.

Behind Section 140 is Dessert Alley, which will sell cinnamon sugar donuts, cupcakes, hand-spun milkshakes, an ice cream bar with hand-dipped ice cream and candy toppings, funnel cake and scooped water ice. Pastry chef Gina Catinella told me that she previously made 1,000 cupcakes for game for the premium seating alone; who knows how many she'll make now that they'll be offered to the general population.

Pricing was not made available.

An Aramark rep says a new line of vegetarian items is on the way.
