Style: The city's BYO boom has landed deep in West Philly, where the crowds lining up for a seat in this casual, appealingly refurbished former apothecary are a sure sign of neighborhood gentrification. The friendly service still needs work, and the constantly evolving menu isn't perfect. But former Bleu chef Ross Essner's bistro comfort fare delivers quality cooking with local ingredients at very fair prices.
