Style: This likable and influential Belgian bistro is the region's undisputed beer paradise. There are surprises beyond the famous burgers and mussels, including stellar octopus and gueuze- stewed rabbit. But the beer-cuisine theme occasionally feels forced and is often drowned in the deafening noise and smoke of what is still essentially a jam-packed bar.
Specialties: Veal cheeks; duck spring rolls; rabbit terrine; boudin blanc; key lime tart; chocolate-hazelnut tart.
Alcohol: BEER: An amazing international list of more than 200 beers, with a focus on Belgian greats such as Duvel, Chimay and Cantillon. Special treats include an Achel Extra Trappist ale, Dupont Avec Les Bon Voeux saison ale, Rochefort 10, creamy Westmalle Triple.
Hours: 7 days (lunch and dinner)
