* Our friends at the Passyunk Post (passyunkpost.com) report that Point Breeze distiller Joan Verratti is looking to open a storefront to sell her Pollyodd Limoncello at 1908 E. Passyunk Ave. Verratti's got four flavors in state stores already. She's still working her way through the permits and approvals maze, so stay tuned!

Cooking Light has crowned Richard Landau and Kate Jacoby, of Vedge (1221 Locust St., 215-320-7500, vedgerestaurant.com), as 2012 Trailblazing Chefs. Landau says - and we agree - that Vedge is "doing things we feel no other restaurant in the world does with vegetables."

* L'Angolo Blue (602 Skippack Pike, 215-641-6789, langoloblue.com) in Blue Bell has a new autumn menu and plans for a six-course wine dinner Tuesday at 6 p.m. $75.

* Whole Foods Market Jenkintown (1575 The Fairway, 215-481-0800, wholefoodsmarket.com) goes batty this Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon with events for all ages themed to bats and bat conservation. There's a costume parade, trick or treat, live bat encounters and more.

* Conshohocken's 401 Diner (401 Fayette St., 484-351-8029, 401conshydiner.com) has autumn-inspired specials such as Cinnamon Pumpkin Pancakes, Fall Harvest Salad and Wildflower Honey-Glazed Tilapia.
