Anthony Bourdain's 'Layover' in Philly
Two days of Anthony Bourdain-induced Twittermania in Philly have come to a close. The celebrated chef and TV personality was here filming an episode of "The Layover," his Travel Channel show about what somebody can do in a city in 24 to 48 hours. Here's where Bourdain touched down: Bourdain's first stop Tuesday was 9th Street in the Italian Market, where he visited DiBruno Bros. and toured the area with owner Emilio Mignucci. He then took a short walk to Paesano's, where he sampled four sandwiches and his crew tore "into food like ravenous seagulls," according to his Twitter account.

Bourdain's first stop Tuesday was 9th Street in the Italian Market, where he visited DiBruno Bros. and toured the area with owner Emilio Mignucci. He then took a short walk to Paesano's, where he sampled four sandwiches and his crew tore "into food like ravenous seagulls," according to his Twitter account.
A stop at the Mutter Museum on South 22nd Street prompted Bourdain's tweet that it had "the best gift shop ever." He also toured the Barnes Foundation, which tweeted a picture of him filming.
Bourdain dined at Marc Vetri's Amis, near 13th and Pine, before heading out for drinks at Dirty Frank's with Paesano's Peter McAndrews and Han Dynasty's Han Chiang.
He tweeted that he cured his hangover Wednesday at Pho 75. Fans tweeted pictures of his crew at Han Dynasty.
Twitter also found him on Germantown Avenue in Mt. Airy enjoying Chef Ken's Café.
He then headed back to South Philly, drawing crowds to East Passyunk Avenue's Stateside, before dinner at Zahav in Society Hill.
Bourdain's visit ended with arguably his most epic stop, the Pen & Pencil Club on Latimer Street, where he took a shot of dirty hot dog water after losing at rock, paper, scissors.
