Ice cream sandwiches that taste like pie

Here's a reason to extend ice cream season: Local favorite Weckerly's has new flavors for fall. Try the pumpkin-bourbon ice cream sandwich between gingersnaps, or pecan-sweet-potato ice cream on maple pecan cookies. Halloween treats for kids and grown-ups alike!

Weckerly's ice cream sandwiches, $4 each at Fair Food Farmstand at the Reading Terminal Market. Place Thanksgiving orders via thanksgiving@fairfoodphilly.org, or 215-386-5211, Ext. 106.
