Sundried tomato-basil cheeseball


The red and green of the herbs and sundried tomatoes give the inside of this cheeseball a holiday—and Italian—flair.

Sundried Tomato-Basil Cheeseball

  • Serves



  • 1 (8-oz) pkg softened cream cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ⅓ cup chopped sundried tomatoes
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ⅔ cup chopped walnuts
  • Crinkle cut carrot chips
  • Sliced cucumbers
  • Crunchy breadsticks

  • In a bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, sundried tomatoes, basil, garlic powder and salt. Chill mixture 30 to 45 minutes, until firm, and shape into a ball. Roll in chopped walnuts. Serve with crinkle cut carrot chips, sliced cucumbers or crunchy breadsticks.
