Hiroyuki "Zama" Tanaka has come far in his three-plus years on 19th Street north of Rittenhouse Square, and his Zama is one of the city's go-to spots for sushi.

Now I can tell you that Zama is on the move. He told me that he has signed a lease at - stop me if you've heard this address before - 3200 Chestnut St.

Chestnut Square, part of Drexel University's redevelopment, will include a Shake Shack and Joe Coffee.

Zama is on board for a 140-seat, two-story Japanese restaurant whose menu will include yakitori, noodles and dumplings. Name is TBA, and it's up for a fall opening.

This will return Zama to University City. He made his mark at Pod before embarking on his solo career.
