Want your own Food Network show?

Gonna be spicy: In Big Daddy’s television kitchen, Aaron McCargo Jr. slices jalapeños for a Season 5 segment of the Food Network’s "Big Daddy's House."

Just a few years ago, Aaron McCargo Jr. was a onetime restaurateur from South Jersey who took the executive chef's job at Thomas Jefferson University.

Now, he has a Food Network show and travels the world as a celeb chef.

And it's all because he applied to be on a little show called Next Food Network Star, which he won.

Casting folks will be in Philly on Thursday, Nov. 8 to scout for contestants ready to compete on Season 9 of Food Network Star.

Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Location: Loews Philadelphia Hotel, 1200 Market St.

Bring your resume and two photos of yourself with your name on the back.
