Want to start a food truck?

POSTED: Thursday, January 31, 2013, 2:50 PM

What kind of question is that?

Of course you do!

Everybody's doing it.

The University of Pennsylvania Law School will host a free all-day seminar on the ins and outs of the mobile food industry on Saturday, Feb. 16. The seminar will coincide with the year's first meeting of the Philadelphia Mobile Food Association.

Topics to be covered will including financing, intellectual property, regulations, and managing risk.

The Facebook page contains details.

I'm guessing this will be held regardless of weather.

Penn's Law School to feature a seminar on how to operate a food truck, while the NYT has a major article today about the implosion of law schools across the country, and the declining need for lawyers, or law school grads with six figures of debt, and no job prospects. This takes the cake.

Is it just me or are food trucks not as good as people say they are?

Cooking and serving food day after day is probably one of the world's hardest jobs, whether it is in a food truck or a restaurant.
