Fäviken, a new cookbook by Swedish chef Magnus Nilsson, is a pain.

Joy Manning, writing at TableMatters, proudly got her oven mitts on Fäviken, a new cookbook by Swedish chef Magnus Nilsson.

She heard it is an "ambitious, challenging cookbook," but that's not the half of it.

Basically, if you're not foraging your ingredients in the snowy tundra of northern Sweden, you're not in the ballpark here. As a South Philadelphian, Manning is out in the cold, as it were.
