Puppy Love Valentine's Party to raise money for PSPCA

It’s time you and your pooch had a night on the town.

It's time you and your pooch had a night on the town.

Smokin' Betty's and Devil's Alley will host their sixth Puppy Love Valentines Party on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the 23rd Street Armory (22 S. 23rd St.) from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

There will be a red carpet to strut down with your four-legged friend, a puppy photo booth, live music, dancing, a silent auction and doggie swag bags.

The evening will include cocktails and appetizers by Smokin' Betty's and Devil's Alley like BBQ Chicken Salad Sliders, Mini Veggie Burgers and Roasted Red Pepper Hummus with Pita. Ms. Goody Cupcake will supply dessert with Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cupcakes for adults and Banana Mutt Muffins for your furry friend.

Don't have a date? The PSPCA will have plenty of homeless pups looking for a good home. There will also be a "Kitty Korner" if you're more of a cat person.

Emmy winner and host of the soon to debut 'Pets with Papadakis,' Maria Papadakis will serve as master of ceremonies and hostess of the doggie red carpet.

Tickets are on sale now for $40, which includes the event, food and beverages. The recommended attire is "dog park finest," or smart casual. All funds raised will be donated to the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PSPCA).
