Must be nice to work for Tom Grim and Stalin Bedon at Nomad Pizza.

The boys are closing their shops (on Seventh Street near South and in Hopewell, N.J.) from Jan. 22 to 30 as they are taking long-term staff members - 14 in all - to Rome and Naples for a 10-day pizza-eating adventure.

"We think it is important that our staff gets a taste of the food culture and have a point of reference for pizza," said Grim, who is stoked about a planned visit to a bufalo mozz farm south of Naples.

Pizza in Rome sucks. In Naples it's a bit better, but still overrated in my opinion. The best pizza can be found in the Northern part of the country. Again, it's one man's opinion, but I think I know my pizza.
