Is La Petite Dauphine closed?

The dessertery on Walnut Street is reported dark.

From what I'm hearing from former employees, it appears that La Petite Dauphine - the stylish dessert and tea salon in a gorgeous brownstone at 2029 Walnut St. in Rittenhouse - has closed after nine months.

Steep is good for tea, but not for stairs (e.g. the flight of steps could not have helped).

I await a call from owner David Smith.
