Han Chiang is finally ready to move Han Dynasty's flagship location in Old CIty up the street into new quarters.
Sunday, Oct. 13 will be the last day at 108 Chestnut St. after nearly three years.
Effective lunchtime Monday, Oct. 14, he and his crew will begin slinging Sichuan at 123 Chestnut St.
It's the enormous, opulent former bank space that was converted into a restaurant in 1996 as Rococo; it subsequently sank into sketchiness as a series of clubs.
Han Dynasty's first night in business will feature a 9 p.m. party featuring free street food - basically, a sampling of Han Dynasty's new bar menu, including minced pork rice, coffin bread, pork belly bun, Taiwanese sesame noodle, turnip cake, and chopped chicken rice - and giveaways of relics from 108 Chestnut.
